Mike Gough, President of the Junior Section, confirmed : “Harry has recently signed an Academy contract with Durham Cricket. He starts Winter training and coaching with the Academy in November, 2019. This is great news for the 16 year old left-handed opening batsman. All at Hartlepool Cricket Club wish Harry all the best with his work with Durham Academy. Harry has impressed at Hartlepool, getting his head down and working hard on his batting. He’s also an excellent fielder and a promising slow left arm bowler too. Harry has a high work ethic, which will serve him well as he works under Coaches at Durham Academy. Hopefully, Harry’s hard work and dedication to his cricket will result in success with the Academy. Harry will still be available to play for Hartlepool at weekends”.
