Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Hartlepool Cricket Club is to take place in the Clubhouse on Thursday, 5th March, 2020, commencing at 7.30pm. Attendees are urged to attend early. The AGM will be presided over by John Relton. Unfortunately, Dr. PGS Relton JP is unable to attend the AGM. The Junior Section, (which is separate to the Senior Section), held its AGM on the 27th January, 2020.

The following matters are confirmed in respect of the AGM, :-

- Reports regarding last season will be presented. This will include cricketing and financial matters;
- Officers of the Cricket Club and the General Committee will be elected for the forthcoming year, as will Captains and Vice Captains;
- Save for President, a nominations list for Officers has been placed on the Club’s Notice Board. The Notice will be exhibited until 14 days before the date of the AGM;
- The General Committee is able to make nominations to the General Committee after the closing date for nominations;
- Persons cannot be nominated for election to the General Committee unless they have been a voting member for at least 18 months;
- Team Captains and Vice Captains can only be nominated by Officials, Playing Members, or members of the General Committee Meeting;
- Only paid-up members of the Cricket Club are permitted to attend the AGM;
- Only paid-up members are eligible for nomination and election; and
- Any proposed new rules, or changes to the existing rules must be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least 21 days before the date of the AGM. All proposals will then be published on the Notice Board. Any amendments to these proposals must be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least 14 days before the AGM, with such amendments published on the Notice Board.

It is hoped that as many members of the Cricket Club as possible will attend this very important Meeting. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions at the AGM.
