Whilst the 2019 season may not yet be over, planning has already started for 2020!
Our Director of Coaching, Chris Smith, is encouraging players and parents / carers to get involved with cricket coaching at Hartlepool Cricket Club.
Chris said : “Coaching is a very rewarding activity. By volunteering you can help develop our players of the future. No previous experience of playing cricket is required, although it can be a slight advantage. Durham Cricket Board have Expression of Interest Forms available for the courses that they are planning to offer over the Winter months. These Forms need to be completed by applicants and then sent off to Durham Cricket Board. They’ll then contact applicants nearer the time about the courses that are to be offered. Hopefully, volunteers will come forward to assist with coaching. Some existing players have said that they want to do their coaching badges, which is extremely positive. Provided that coaching activities are undertaken at the Club, the Club will pay the cost of the coaching courses that are undertaken”.
