Batting style and highest score : right handed, with one of my only two 1st XI scores of over 100 for “the Harbour”. 1990 -v- Whitburn : the worst 100 in the history of the then Durham Senior Cricket League - dropped six times. 2003 -v- Durham City : 100 brought up with a six out of the ground!

Bowling style and best return : was, (emphasis on was!), right hand medium pace, with 6 for 35 in 13 overs against Marsden 1st XI probably being my best return

Preferred fielding position : Wicketkeeper, cover, or mid wicket

Funniest cricketing moment : seeing Chris Leighton, (aka “Blob”), being picked-up whilst still wearing his full cricket whites, (including knitted jumpers), and thrown into the team bath at Ashbrooke, Sunderland. And all because he thought it would be funny to pour cold water over somebody who was already in the bath! Epic fail!!
