Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic, which commenced in early 2020, Hartlepool Cricket Club had prepared its Club Development Plan for 2020. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had a major impact upon the Cricket Club’s “CDP” and its ability to achieve the aims and objectives that were set out in the Plan.
Fast forward to May, 2022 and the World being a different place, a Sub-Committee met on 9th May, 2022 to undertake a review of the 2020 Club Development Plan. The purpose of the meeting was to review the 2020 “CDP” and to formulate the Cricket Club’s next Club Development Plan. A copy of the 2020 “CPD”, incorporating comments on whether the stated targets have been met, or not is shown below.
Notwithstanding the devastating impact that Covid-19 had, Hartlepool Cricket Club has been able to achieve many of its stated aims that were set out in 2020.
Alan Jackson, (Chair of Hartlepool Cricket Club), reflected : “In what is Volunteers Week, I’d like to personally thank all those people associated with Hartlepool Cricket Club, (both within the Senior and Junior Section, plus those who volunteer their time when available), who have worked together to help us achieve many of our Club Development Plan’s aims that were agreed in 2020. Volunteers are the golden thread that runs through Hartlepool Cricket Club. Their contributions, at a variety of levels, are very much appreciated. Without their contributions, the Cricket Club would be a poorer place. Please take the opportunity to read the 2020 Club Development Plan. The fact that we were able to achieve so many of our stated aims should be seen as a major achievement. Our next Club Development Plan, which arose from the review of the 2020 document, will be published shortly. Some of those aims that were not achieved will form the basis of our next “CDP”. I’m more than happy to answer any queries that supporters of Hartlepool Cricket Club may have regarding the Club’s Development Plan”.
