The Under 9s were kindly invited by Eppleton Cricket Club of the North East Premier League to take part in their Under 9s Softball Tournament which is being held at Eppleton on Saturday, 3rd August, 2019. Players to meet at 12noon, with the Tournament commencing at 12.30pm.

The Stags have been drawn in Group B, with this comprising us, Durham City, Dawdon A and Durham City. Group A sees Eppleton competing against Sacriston and Dawdon B.

Bobby Cunliffe;
Finley Davies;
Sam Blakey; and
Matthew Curtis.

Eppleton have an excellent history of supporting junior cricket, thanks to such Coaches as Ken Ferguson. Their former West Indian Professional, Jimmy Adams, was also instrumental in coaching youngsters at Eppleton, including Jimmy Daley who was at Durham County Cricket Club at the same time as our very own Michael Gough Junior.

Fingers crossed for good weather. Hopefully, the Stags can build on the experiences that they gained last weekend at Stockton Cricket Club!
